NAME - West Central Alabama Simplex Net

NCS - WX4RON, Ronnie in the Birmingam area

Time - 8 PM every Sunday Night

FREQUENCY - 146.580 (frequency has changed from 156.575)

PURPOSE - To test simplex communications capabilities, equipment, antenna systems, etc.  This also incluces rotating NCS duites during the net to practice relaying communications from verious points.

This is a great net and has a lot of folks participating.  Check it out and identifly what the capabilites of your station are as this is a great test of communications without repeaters.
